Creating Your Own Private Garden Is Not

Once mature the living wall separates you and your private paradise from the rest of the world.Creating your own private garden is not only fun but offers years of pleasure and enjoyment as you watch nature come together. Plus it can help make the garden area cooler.Going containerized is also a possibility and gives you the option of creating a private space quickly. Living walls can simply be a fence covered with a fast growing vine. Before taking any steps consider where you want to locate your little piece of paradise. Some gardens actually create a barrier of a “living wall” and others want more of an open space and use an arbor or arch to frame the entrance. This is a great option for small spaces. Arrange the planters and flowers around the perimeter of the space. Using a variety of pot sizes placed strategically will give and interesting look and give some privacy..The down side of a container garden is from the inability to block out noise, so these types of gardens work best in a secluded part of a yard. If at all possible try to find a spot away from everyday noise and distractions. Private garden spaces usually tend to be small where a small backyard patio or gazebo is the place of refuge even when the sun goes down by adding landscape lighting fixtures. Large or small the garden depends on your personal taste and budget. However, no matter where you live or the size of the property creating your own private garden is a paradise you call your own. It becomes almost a sanctuary to get away from but also a great place to spend time with friends and show off! The garden gives a place to get away from the daily grind of life. If noise or busy traffic is an issue you will need to do some planning to reduce the noise. Your garden does not need to be private I’ve found them much more relaxing and soothing when they are at least semi-private.I’ve had the pleasure of visiting a truly private garden, however this tropical palm garden is over 160 acres in size and finds itself nestled along the coast of south Florida hugging Biscayne Bay. The vines also function as a sound barrier.
